Mulching the Backyard

Friday, the rubber mulch was delivered for the backyard. Matthew had fun playing king of the hill on the pile in the drive-way.


Sunday afternoon we were ready to start moving the mulch. Derek and I moved about 4 of the 5 tons. Matthew thought it was fun to help shovel and insisted that he was big enough to move the wheel barrel to the back yard.



Tonight, we finished. Derek and I are thrilled to not be moving mulch agai any time soon.



The mulch looks great and now if the kids fall they will have lots of cushion.
