Matthew Working Hard

Matthew loves to help Daddy every chance he gets. He has been helping dig dirt all week. Today, he was able to help shovel the dirt off of the trailer. Then help push the plate compacter. He was so serious that it was hard not to laugh at him. The compactor moved basically by itself but he thought he was such a big helper.

Happy 4th Birthday Matthew!

Four years ago today, we welcomed Matthew Scott into our family. He is a bright shining light.  Matthew's joy is contagious and infectious. He loves to help with everything and anything. Learning and playing are jobs Matthew takes seriously. He is a joy to have in our lives.

Matthew told me about a month ago that when he turned four he could eat cake. My heart broke hearing this as I didn't think we were even close enough to having enough ingriedients.  However, Kids with Food Allergies rescued me. I was able to make Matthew a cake with an owl and wands for his birthday.

Matthew truely enjoyed being able to eat cake.
