Air Rockets: An Afternoon of Fun

Step One: Make Rockets
Step Two: Count Down

Step Three: Watch the Rocket Fly
Step Four: Find the Rocket
The rockets landed in the neighbors yards across the street, behind the house and next to us. The rockets were all launched just outside the back door.  All the rockets landed on the roof at least once.   After a while Lucy got tired of the rockets being launched and hid under the grill.

The boys are very proud of their rockets and are excited to make more.

Happy 6th Birthday Micah

Mario Man is 6 years old. Micah is in love with Mario and Legos.  Now if we could combine these to things I don't think we would be able to get him off the ceiling. He loved to be able to celebrate his birthday with all of his family.  He loves all of his presents.  His joy is contagious. Happy 6th Birthday Micah, this will be a great year.

Pinewood Derby #2

The boys are in different Cub Scout Packs this year, so this is "Micah's Pinewood."  The boys had so much fun racing thier cars.  PopPop, David, has been going to Lion Cubs with Micah as his adult partner.  He helped Micah make his Mario Kart car and made a golden snitch car for himself.  Derek made a Horton car for Matthew and Bryce raced his dog bone. The Bernard's had fun racing and watching.

A Rainy Sunday at Chuck E Cheese

On Sunday March 20, we were bored and needed to get out of the house. We took the boys to Chuck E Cheese for lunch.  It was a really fun day. The crowd started to really show up as we were finishing up.  The boys had a blast. They won enough tickets to come home with clay, some candy, and little frogs. We all also had our pictures drawn in the picture booth. Derek and I were pleasantly suprised at how well they turned out.
